Our Bible Studies courses involve various faith-based topics and each course has its own schedule and materials.
Current courses available:
"Presence" -- On FORMED.org
God desires to be with us just like in the Garden of Eden. God led us out of slavery in Egypt and he came to us through the birth of Jesus, Emmanuel “God with us” and lived among us. Although the Eucharist appears to be simple bread and wine, it is actually the “Source and Summit” of the Christian life.
Presence: The Mystery of the Eucharist explores the truth and beauty of Christ’s real presence in the Eucharist, from its origins in Sacred Scripture, to its profound role in the life of the Church and her members. It is the crescendo of the entire story of salvation.
All full-length episodes of Presence can be found on FORMED.org. Formed is an online streaming platform (similar to Netflix). All Parishioners and school families have FREE access to Formed. Sign up today!
Beginning on Sunday, April 11th, we will show an episode of Presence each week in the church basement at the following times for those who would like to watch with others (masks and social distancing required) :
Sundays after the 8 am, 10 am, and 12 noon Masses
Wednesdays at 10 am (after daily Mass)
Fridays at 10 am (after daily Mass)
If you have any questions, or to inquire about more small group options, please email Deacon Charlie at firstname.lastname@example.org .
Walking with Purpose -- Opening Your Heart
Do you desire to grow in your Catholic faith? Do you seek connection with other women in our parish community? Opening Your Heart, our foundational study, is designed for a woman new to Walking With Purpose, with or without any Bible study experience. Come as you are to learn how the Scriptures apply to our everyday lives!
Weekly group sessions for this study are starting the week of September 22, 2020 and will run through March.
Walking with Purpose -- Keeping in Balance
Keeping in Balance will take us on a journey throughout Scripture as we discover the relevance of Old and New Testament wisdom to our daily challenges. God wants to support and help us so that we can be our best in every season of our lives. In this 22-lesson study, we’ll explore biblical ideas for managing life’s uncertainties, pace, and pressure while living with calm and steadiness. A lifestyle of health and holiness awaits you. Video supplements accompany this study guide, which will focus on the importance of simplicity, rest, authenticity, and what to do if it doesn’t go the way we planned.
There are both in-person and online women's groups available (we're all meeting at different times this year). Please select the link below to register for either the "Opening Your Heart" or "Keeping in Balance" studies.
