Walking with Purpose -- The Modern Woman's Guide to the Bible

Do you desire to grow in your Catholic faith? Would you like to connect with other women in our parish community? Are you searching for something more in your life? We invite you to consider joining Walking with Purpose, a women’s Catholic Bible study, this fall at Saint Rose.

Weekly group sessions are starting on Wednesday, September 11th, 7:00 - 9:00 pm.

Opening Your Heart, our foundational study, is designed for a woman new to WWP, with or without any Bible study experience; come as you are to learn how the Scriptures apply to our everyday lives. Our second study, Discovering Our Dignity, gives us modern-day advice from the women of the Bible and is for women who have already participated in Walking with Purpose and are ready for more advanced level study.

The mission of Walking with Purpose is to help every American Catholic woman and girl to open her heart to Christ. Interested in learning more? Please join us on Wednesday, August 14th, to find out what Walking with Purpose is all about! Bring a friend and meet us in the St. Rose Church Basement at 7:00pm.

Contact Katie Hohler -; (419) 699-7623, or visit Walking with Purpose online at for more information. We hope to see you there!

Ephesians: Discover Your Inheritance

Beginning August 6

Please note: The Ephesians Bible Study is now full.

One of the most remarkable things about our Faith is that by God’s grace, we have become his adopted sons and daughters. Because of this, we are the heirs of all our heavenly Father’s divine promises and blessings. In your day-to-day life, what does it mean to be a son or daughter of God? When you sit in the pews each Sunday, what does it mean to be part of his family, the Church?

Paul’s letter to the Ephesians reveals the amazing inheritance we have been given. I invite you to uncover the amazing gifts God has given you by joining us for Ephesians: Discover Your Inheritance, a four week condensed Bible study beginning on August 6, 2019. You will not only discover your unique gifts and calling as a member of Christ’s Church; you will also help us to grow in fellowship as a parish as we grow closer to Christ together.

Participants of Ephesians: Discover Your Inheritance will order a work book and will meet every week to view an engaging video presentation followed by a time of lively group discussion and fellowship. The videos, presented by Jeff Cavins, will guide you through St. Paul’s letter to the Ephesians, helping you discover the great inheritance that awaits us as sons and daughters, adopted fully into the family of God.

We will begin Ephesians on August 6 from 7-9. Meeting dates will be 8/6, 8/13, 8/20 and 8/27.  For more information, please Lauri Oakes email at
